ELLIE SACHS
The first time I saw Ellie's work was when her recent short film “Proof of Concept,” which she co-directed, co-wrote, and starred in, made a splash at the New Yorker after they acquired it at the Tribeca Film Festival.
By the time I finished watching it, I knew I wanted to see everything she did. By the end of that day, I had dozens of messages from people who found it funny, poignant, and something I had to watch. I reached out to her.
Turns out Ellie comes from a theater background and has an interest in working with non-traditional actors, translating into some of the most charming, funny, and viral sensations. It reminds us of the natural way comedy can take life by storm.
She remade the movie Annie Hall, starring senior citizens, and directed and acted alongside inmates at maximum-security prisons and jails nationwide. Her ability to stay collected and creative under extreme circumstances made her a perfect candidate for bringing much-needed comedy into the advertising world!

Ellie Sachs writes, acts, and directs.
She is currently in development on a half hour comedy at FX network in which she is set to star.
Ellie created, hosts, and produces a food show for Timeout New York where she pesters people on the street with great success.
She has extensive experience working with non-traditional actors. She remade the movie Annie Hall starring senior citizens (many of whom were first time actors).
She has also directed and acted alongside inmates at maximum security prisons and jails all over the country. Her prison work is being developed as a podcast with Drake’s company, DreamCrew.
Perhaps it goes without saying, but she was also a theater camp counselor -- and is great at directing children, too.
Ellie has collaborated with brands like FEATHER and organizations like Planned Parenthood to do art activations.
Her work has been featured in Vanity Fair, The Guardian, The New York Times and CBS Sunday Morning, amongst others.
