In 2021, Alma Har'el directed Shadow Kingdom, a 50-minute film for the legendary Bob Dylan. Initially live-streamed exclusively on VEEPS and later available on Apple TV, the film highlighted Har'el’s innovative vision, further cementing her reputation as a genre-bending director. Har'el masterfully crafted a dreamlike experience, infusing her signature cinematic style into Dylan’s timeless music and reimagining the traditional concert film. The result was haunting, atmospheric, and entirely unique. The Guardian described the film as the birth of a new genre for Har'el: concert noir.
